In the 9th match minute, Poynton FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rudolph Libiran to maneuver through the defense. Poynton FC's Sonny Banaticla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ponyong Galacio in the 20th minute of play. With a little luck, Poynton FC's Sonny Banaticla got control of the ball when Ponyong Galacio tried to sneak it across the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dogong Quisisem in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kirk Jocson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 30 minutes, Ponyong Galacio made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Poynton FC's Sonny Banaticla tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 33 minutes into the match, Poynton FC's goalkeeper Sonny Banaticla had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Brad Balaoing. In the 35th match minute, Napakatalino NRH was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Steve Kahid to maneuver through the defense. Kirk Jocson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dogong Quisisem in the 38th minute of the match. Napakatalino NRH's Kirk Jocson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dogong Quisisem in the 40th minute of play. After 41 played minutes Napakatalino NRH got a freekick which was hit by Brad Balaoing. Kirk Jocson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Mabanag in the 45th minute of the match. Noli Gutilban fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sonny Banaticla having to interfere. In the 50th minute, Napakatalino NRH's Jovanie Balaoing seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Jovanie Balaoing the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Napakatalino NRH protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Jovanie Balaoing had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Noli Gutilban to strike the kick off in the second half. 66 minutes into the match, Noli Gutilban notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Poynton FC's Sonny Banaticla. Sonny Banaticla was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Kirk Jocson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Mabanag, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. In the 70th minute, Calvin Palugod hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kirk Jocson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Mabanag, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Napakatalino NRH's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Cristian Mabanag 81 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 3-1. Dogong Quisisem sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dogong Quisisem fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 99th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kirk Jocson having to interfere. If Noli Gutilban had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 102nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee blew the final whistle, Napakatalino NRH could leave the field as winners, despite Poynton FC having more of the ball for most of the match.
