Renren Patao fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Philip Madlangsakit having to interfere. 11 minutes into the match, Samuel Cordova had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Irvine Nangpi. Fairy Tails's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Samuel Cordova was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 16th match minute, Fairy Tails was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Austin Pelayon to maneuver through the defense. 24 minutes into the match, Isla De Jacinto's goalkeeper Philip Madlangsakit had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Renren Patao. Jeff Bunsoy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Irvine Nangpi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 30th minute, Renren Patao got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jeremias Batungbacal in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Philip Madlangsakit prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Andrew Parotong hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, Fairy Tails's Gabby Pacquing tried to score from far away in the 45th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Renren Patao's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 47thth minute, Philip Madlangsakit skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jeremias Batungbacal stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Isla De Jacinto's Philip Madlangsakit played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Renren Patao in the 55th minute of play. In the 56th minute the ball was on its way in behind Isla De Jacinto's goalkeeper Philip Madlangsakit, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Isla De Jacinto's Marvin Ruffy got a free kick in the 56th minute. In the 65th play minute Jeff Bunsoy came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Irvine Nangpi. 1-2. In the 69th minute, Jeff Bunsoy got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Isla De Jacinto booed when Fairy Tails was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Austin Pelayon didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Samuel Cordova in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Irvine Nangpi saved Fairy Tails from getting behind. 73 minutes into the game, Ray Cayco was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Fairy Tails's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Isla De Jacinto the free kick. In the 74th match minute, Fairy Tails was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ray Cayco to maneuver through the defense. Samuel Cordova struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Irvine Nangpi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Isla De Jacinto. If Jeff Bunsoy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Jeremias Batungbacal fell near the penalty area in the 84th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fairy Tails's protests and gave Jeremias Batungbacal a yellow card for diving instead. Jeremias Batungbacal hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Renren Patao's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Philip Madlangsakit read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 87th minute of play. Isla De Jacinto's Philip Madlangsakit played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Renren Patao in the 92nd minute of play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Isla De Jacinto walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
