The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Fadh Romatua made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Donny Idris in the 4th minute of play. Sungaiapit FC's Sigit Pane got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 8 minutes into the match, Sigit Chaniago had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Leonard Kooth. Sungaiapit FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sigit Chaniago was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Sigit Pane charged in rather forcefully in the 12th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sigit Pane the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 12th minute, Sigit Pane hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Rochy Ketaren fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored PSP Beabah's protests and gave Rochy Ketaren a yellow card for diving instead. In the 13th match minute, PSP Beabah was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rochy Ketaren to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cecep Martin during the 15th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to PSP Beabah getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Cecep Martin hit a great ball. After 19th play minutes Sigit Chaniago shot 0-2, a short shot which went by Leonard Kooth and just under the crossbar into goal. Sigit Chaniago sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 28thth minute of the game Sigit Chaniago who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sungaiapit FC's Leonard Kooth was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Sigit Pane sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. PSP Beabah's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Donny Idris 34 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-2. Sigit Chaniago hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. If Sigit Chaniago had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leonard Kooth made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cecep Martin in the 42nd minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Donny Idris to make the kick off. Sigit Chaniago was extremely unlucky when he, in the 52nd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Sigit Chaniago sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fadh Romatua didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Donny Idris went, in the 66th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. If Cecep Martin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sigit Chaniago in the 79th minute of play forced Sungaiapit FC's goalkeeper Leonard Kooth to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 82 minutes into the match, Sungaiapit FC's goalkeeper Leonard Kooth had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cecep Martin. If Sigit Chaniago had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 90th minute, Donny Idris left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sungaiapit FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. PSP Beabah's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Sungaiapit FC had won, even though PSP Beabah had held more of the ball.
