In the 18th minute of the match Sipiongot Guchi sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Taufik Yarman skillfully saved the ball. Rio Wibowo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in PSM Tjukangbatu's zone, Ricky Arbi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Elie Kaban came out of the goal and Ricky Arbi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rio Wibowo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Taufik Yarman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Rexy Pane managed to get in a good position for a shot. PSM Tjukangbatu's supporters rose to their feet, but Rexy Pane was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Taufik Yarman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 31st minute, Ferry Suprianto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Taufik Yarman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rio Wibowo in the 33rd minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Ferry Suprianto kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Elie Kaban. That made the score 2-1 in the 38 minute of play. Ferry Suprianto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elie Kaban having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rio Wibowo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Andi Kaban sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. PSM Tjukangbatu's Elie Kaban played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kompos Alexander in the 67th minute of play. After 69 minutes, Fery Muchtaji mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the arcelia united and the PSM Tjukangbatu players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 69th match minute, arcelia united was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fery Muchtaji to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Reynaldo Rai during the 70th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to PSM Tjukangbatu getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Reynaldo Rai hit a great ball. Rexy Pane fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Taufik Yarman having to interfere. In the 85th minute the ball was on its way in behind arcelia united's goalkeeper Taufik Yarman, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Rexy Pane received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Taufik Yarman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 93 played minutes arcelia united got a freekick which was hit by Fery Muchtaji. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. arcelia united had won after a very even match.
