Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Fadhly Dermawan started the match with the kick off. Ari Piliang showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fadhly Dermawan, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. In the 12th minute, Andre Wibowo made a precise shot to the right of Awalludin Ridliwan. Pulaurengas FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. When the match clock showed 16 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Andre Wibowo sped through Pulaurengas FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Awalludin Ridliwan. In the 19th minute of the match Daus Priyatno shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Awalludin Ridliwan showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 23rd minute, Pandapotan Sipayung got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 25th minute of the match Rexy Dermawan shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ari Piliang showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Awalludin Dewa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ari Piliang having to make a save. 26 minutes into the match, Pulaurengas FC's Awalludin Dewa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ari Piliang narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Bongky Sitorus kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fadhly Dermawan in the 34th minute of play forced Rainbows and Unicorns's goalkeeper Ari Piliang to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 36th minute Fadhly Dermawan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ari Piliang saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 37 played minutes Rainbows and Unicorns got a freekick which was hit by Bongky Sitorus. The supporters of Rainbows and Unicorns booed when Pulaurengas FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mario Aswin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pandapotan Sipayung received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Awalludin Ridliwan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half Rainbows and Unicorns were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Andre Wibowo to strike the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Rainbows and Unicorns's goal looked a bit too open when Awalludin Dewa came free, but Ari Piliang reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Awalludin Dewa came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Pulaurengas FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Awalludin Dewa couldn't finish the play. After 59 minutes of play, Rainbows and Unicorns's Pandapotan Sipayung made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Awalludin Ridliwan was left in no man's land by his defense there! Fadhly Dermawan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Ari Piliang tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rainbows and Unicorns's Ari Piliang played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Awalludin Dewa in the 70th minute of play. Ari Piliang showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fadhly Dermawan in the 71st minute of the match. Fadhly Dermawan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ari Piliang having to interfere. Fadhly Dermawan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Candra Pane fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ari Piliang having to interfere. Ari Piliang made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Awalludin Dewa in the 86th minute of play. Awalludin Dewa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. After a rather tough play, Pulaurengas FC's Candra Pane got a free kick in the 94th minute. In the 97th minute of the match Rainbows and Unicorns got a corner. Pulaurengas FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Budi Sitepu ran over to the corner to take the kick. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Rainbows and Unicorns eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
