After 9 played minutes, Faturei FC's Bento Martin shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Hastomo Ginting came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Faturei FC reached it. The supporters of Faturei FC booed when Pintoebosi FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Awalludin Sinuraya didn't get a good kick on the ball. Donnie Sitorus received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Hastomo Ginting tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Henry Simamora struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Hastomo Ginting didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Faturei FC. Awalludin Reza's late challenge caught a Faturei FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. When the match clock showed 40 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Donnie Sitorus sped through Pintoebosi FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Hastomo Ginting. In the 43rd match minute, Faturei FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Donnie Sitorus to maneuver through the defense. In the 45th minute the ball was on its way in behind Pintoebosi FC's goalkeeper Hastomo Ginting, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Henry Simamora sent away a hard shot on goal in the 50th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

A collision led to Faturei FC getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Mario Hidayat hit a great ball. In the 95th minute, Henry Simamora hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Faturei FC played a much better game than Pintoebosi FC and deserved their victory. The Pintoebosi FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
