Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Ruslan Ridliwan made the kick off which started today's match. PSP Mergojoso's Donnie Guchi quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Sipiongot Sitorus, made in the 3rd minute of the game. 4 minutes into the match, Gunungputer's goal looked a bit too open when Djati Haryanto came free, but Boy Budikusuma reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. PSP Mergojoso's Joko Reza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fery Oktavianus in the 6th minute of play. 8 minutes into the match, PSP Mergojoso's goal looked a bit too open when Fery Oktavianus came free, but Joko Reza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fery Oktavianus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Ruslan Ridliwan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Boy Budikusuma came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by PSP Mergojoso's Ari Sipayung. But to his dismay, Ari Sipayung quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. When Sipiongot Sitorus fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gunungputer's protests and gave Sipiongot Sitorus a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Gunungputer's Sipiongot Sitorus got a free kick in the 35th minute. With a little luck, PSP Mergojoso's Joko Reza got control of the ball when Yahya Reza tried to sneak it across the goal line. 42 minutes into the game, one of PSP Mergojoso:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Yahya Rezas short, quick shot in the 46thth minute got Joko Reza to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After the first half PSP Mergojoso were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Joko Reza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fery Oktavianus in the 53rd minute of play. Ruslan Ridliwan struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Boy Budikusuma didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for PSP Mergojoso. Gunungputer's Boy Budikusuma played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ruslan Ridliwan in the 57th minute of play. After 62 played minutes PSP Mergojoso got a freekick which was hit by Djati Haryanto. Lelo Sitepu hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. A collision led to Gunungputer getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Fery Oktavianus hit a great ball. 68 minutes into the game, PSP Mergojoso's Djati Haryanto nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Boy Budikusuma made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. In the 73rd minute, Uum Barus hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ruslan Ridliwan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Boy Budikusuma having to interfere. After 89 played minutes Gunungputer got a freekick which was hit by Uum Yarman. After some careless play in the Gunungputer defense, Djati Haryanto kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Boy Budikusuma. The Gunungputer fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Boy Budikusuma should have stopped the shot. Sipiongot Sitorus made in the 96th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Yahya Reza immediately put the ball in play. Although Gunungputer had been in control for most of the match, PSP Mergojoso still came away with the win.
