After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

龚国骋's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but 谢桦坚 read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 53rd minute of play. 洪镇阳 sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. After a defensive mix-up in 内蒙兴安盟糊人俱乐部队's zone, 陈耀林 stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. 吕竞骋 came out of the goal and 陈耀林 tried to chip the ball over his head.
