When 陶斌谦 fell near the penalty area in the 7th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored 西藏山南鸟人联队's protests and gave 陶斌谦 a yellow card for diving instead. After 12 minutes of play, 西藏山南鸟人联队's 邵荣镇 made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. 郝震青 was left in no man's land by his defense there! 17 minutes into the match, 西藏山南鸟人联队's goal looked a bit too open when 彭义飞 came free, but 许皓铮 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 西藏山南鸟人联队's 许皓铮 played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 巩铮升 in the 19th minute of play. 许皓铮 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 彭义飞, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 39 minutes into the match, 西藏山南鸟人联队's goalkeeper 许皓铮 had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by 巩铮升. 莫默雄's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but 许皓铮 read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 40th minute of play. 郝震青 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 贺朗翀 in the 41st minute of play. In the 46th match minute, 西藏山南鸟人联队 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by 康文竞 to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to 西藏山南鸟人联队 getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. 冯思国 hit a great ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when 冯思国 stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When 巩铮升 came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the 香港深水埗区红日联队 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that 巩铮升 couldn't finish the play. 康思志 struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. 许皓铮 didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in 西藏山南鸟人联队's zone, 彭义飞 stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. 许皓铮 came out of the goal and 彭义飞 tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match had gone on for 60 minutes, 冯思国 took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for 郝震青 to make any attempt to save it. 宋文乐 kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 63rdth minute. Though ot was a great shot 香港深水埗区红日联队's keeper 郝震青 was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. 许皓铮 came out of the goal in the 66th minute to try and stop a shot by 香港深水埗区红日联队's 彭义飞. But to his dismay, 彭义飞 quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. When the match had gone on for 70 minutes, 莫默雄 put it in 3-2 from a short distance just to the right of 许皓铮. After 74 minutes of play, 西藏山南鸟人联队's 宋文乐 made it 3-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. 郝震青 was left in no man's land by his defense there! Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling 邓松源 in the 78th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck 许皓铮 prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in 西藏山南鸟人联队's zone, 陆明竞 stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. 许皓铮 came out of the goal and 陆明竞 tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 许皓铮 stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of 巩铮升's shot from short distance in the 81st minute. After having played for 83 minutes, 彭义飞 managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. 香港深水埗区红日联队's supporters crossed their fingers, but 彭义飞 was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to 西藏山南鸟人联队 getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. 邵荣镇 hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, 西藏山南鸟人联队's 齐风桑 got a free kick in the 86th minute. In the 86th minute of the match 巩铮升 sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but 许皓铮 skillfully saved the ball. The audience was convinced that 彭义飞's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but 许皓铮 was relentless in the 88th minute of the game. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the 香港深水埗区红日联队 players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
