To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 吕国希's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but 庄洋森 read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers 吕国希 in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg 庄洋森 saved ≮China≯『曙光』北京cctv.FC from getting behind. 吕国希 received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. 庄洋森 tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 38thth minute of the game 吕国希 who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ≮China≯『曙光』北京cctv.FC's 庄洋森 was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. ≮China≯『曙光』北京cctv.FC's 庄洋森 played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 肖迅博 in the 43rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, ≮China≯『曙光』北京cctv.FC's 康骏洲 got a free kick in the 44th minute. 彭威宁 fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without 庄洋森 having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for 高政星 to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, 彭威宁 left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. A very good chance for a goal. ≮China≯『曙光』北京cctv.FC's 庄洋森 played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 彭威宁 in the 70th minute of play. In the 72nd minute 吕国希 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 庄洋森 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 庄洋森 made an important save on a dangerous shot by 彭威宁 in the 77th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by 贺常海 in the 93rd minute of play forced 湖南怀化冰城代表队's goalkeeper 任奕城 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 彭威宁 blasted a shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without 庄洋森 having to make a save.
