Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Ryan Whatman kicked off to start the match. 4 minutes into the game, Cliff Diefenbach was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mandiga's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bruxton the free kick. Cliff Diefenbach kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. If Stew Sewell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Paul Boston made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ryan Whatman in the 22nd minute of play. Ryan Whatman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Paul Boston tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bruxton's Paul Boston proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save Bruxton from getting a goal against them. In the 33rd minute of the match Carlton Lord sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Anthony Convine skillfully saved the ball. After some careless play in the Mandiga defense, Stew Sewell kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Anthony Convine. The Mandiga fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Anthony Convine should have stopped the shot. A hard shot 46 in the game by Payton Rhodes from a close distance when the talented Paul Boston managed to make a qualified save. Bruxton's players were relieved. After a defensive mix-up in Mandiga's zone, Stew Sewell stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anthony Convine came out of the goal and Stew Sewell tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Navarro Clist was the one to do the kick off. Cliff Diefenbach fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paul Boston having to interfere. Anthony Convine showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Navarro Clist, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Payton Rhodes in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Paul Boston saved Bruxton from getting behind. Ryan Whatman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paul Boston having to interfere. If Payton Rhodes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 69th minute, Payton Rhodes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience was convinced that Payton Rhodes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Paul Boston was relentless in the 71st minute of the game. When Mandiga's Payton Rhodes in the 72nd minute got a chance for a shot 72nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Bruxton's goalie prevented a goal. 76 minutes into the game, Ed Staggard was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bruxton's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mandiga the free kick. After 76 played minutes Bruxton got a freekick which was hit by Ed Staggard. Stew Sewell was extremely unlucky when he, in the 80th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. When Ryan Whatman came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Mandiga fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ryan Whatman couldn't finish the play. In the 83rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Mandiga's goalkeeper Anthony Convine, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to Bruxton getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Nelson Flisfeder hit a great ball. After 86 played minutes, Mandiga's Alexander Carbery shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Paul Boston came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Mandiga reached it. After having played for 91 minutes, Ryan Whatman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mandiga's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ryan Whatman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience was convinced that Payton Rhodes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Paul Boston was relentless in the 94th minute of the game. Bray Heath kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. Paul Boston showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Payton Rhodes in the 99th minute of the match. The Bruxton players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
