Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Navarro Clist started the match with the kick off. Bath Lawson charged in rather forcefully in the 4th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bath Lawson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Bath Lawson hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. Navarro Clist's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Stan Shirdon read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 9th minute of play. After 10 minutes, Rick Coleman mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bruxton and the Netherwood players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 10th match minute, Bruxton was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rick Coleman to maneuver through the defense. Bruxton's Paul Boston played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rick Mccormick in the 15th minute of play. Roy Coburn received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Paul Boston tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Stew Sewell could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Stan Shirdon made a huge save. With a little luck, Netherwood's Stan Shirdon got control of the ball when Stew Sewell tried to sneak it across the goal line. Nash Huntington hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. In the 38th minute of the match Nelson Flisfeder sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Stan Shirdon skillfully saved the ball. 40 minutes into the game, Roy Coburn cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Paul Boston was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 46 minutes, Ed Staggard mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bruxton and the Netherwood players grew even worse after the yellow card. Paul Boston showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rick Mccormick in the 47th minute of the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rick Mccormick to strike the kick off in the second half. Rick Mccormick fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paul Boston having to interfere. Edwardo Willison hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Netherwood defense, Navarro Clist kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Stan Shirdon. The Netherwood fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Stan Shirdon should have stopped the shot. Rick Mccormick sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 74th match minute, Bruxton was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bradley Grieve to maneuver through the defense. In the 81st minute, Ed Staggard hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Stan Shirdon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Navarro Clist in the 84th minute of play. Roy Coburn's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 89thth minute, Paul Boston skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal.
