Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Myles Butterfield kicked off to start the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 3rd minute of the game. One of Brookong:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Perth Kickers:s goal. The goalkeeper, Dallas Todman, was totally fooled by Perth Kickers's Peter Limmer, who 5 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. After 8 minutes, Howard Schutt mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Perth Kickers and the Brookong players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 8th match minute, Perth Kickers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Howard Schutt to maneuver through the defense. Reese Holdsworth fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Darryl Laughton having to interfere. If Brent Mcjunkins had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Perth Kickers's Ringo Ward got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Brent Mcjunkins got free with Dallas Todman in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Reese Holdsworth received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Darryl Laughton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Reese Holdsworth had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 27 minutes into the match, Perth Kickers's goal looked a bit too open when Reese Holdsworth came free, but Darryl Laughton reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Brent Mcjunkins sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Brent Mcjunkins in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dallas Todman prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Brent Mcjunkins struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Dallas Todman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Perth Kickers. Darryl Laughton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Reese Holdsworth in the 38th minute of play. If Reese Holdsworth had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 48 minutes into the match, Brookong's Reese Holdsworth sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Darryl Laughton narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Brent Mcjunkins to strike the kick off in the second half. When the match clock showed 52 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Brent Mcjunkins sped through Brookong's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Dallas Todman. Reese Holdsworth struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Darryl Laughton didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Brookong. Brookong's Dallas Todman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Brent Mcjunkins in the 60th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Brookong's Lawrance Leach got a free kick in the 60th minute. 62 minutes into the match, Brent Mcjunkins had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dallas Todman. Brookong's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Brent Mcjunkins was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brent Mcjunkins in the 66th minute of play forced Brookong's goalkeeper Dallas Todman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Brent Mcjunkins scored 4-0 in the 69th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dallas Todman, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Barth Hines recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dallas Todman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brook Stanton in the 79th minute of play. Reese Holdsworth's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Darryl Laughton read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 81st minute of play. Dallas Todman didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Brent Mcjunkins went, in the 85th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. Peter Limmer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 94th minute, Reese Holdsworth fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Perth Kickers fans cheered their team off the field, for while Brookong had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
