Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Myles Butterfield took the kick off in the first half of the match. Dallas Todman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Norman Krause in the 9th minute of play. In the 10th match minute, Chelsea was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nash Cuddihy to maneuver through the defense. Nathan Cochrane showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Myles Butterfield in the 13th minute of the match. After 15th play minutes Barry Lonergan shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Dallas Todman and just under the crossbar into goal. Myles Butterfield kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. In the 22nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Brookong's goalkeeper Dallas Todman, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 29th minute, Myles Butterfield fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Reese Holdsworth received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Nathan Cochrane tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Barry Lonergan in the 31st minute of play forced Brookong's goalkeeper Dallas Todman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Brookong defense, Norman Krause kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dallas Todman. The Brookong fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dallas Todman should have stopped the shot. Dallas Todman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Norman Krause in the 39th minute of play. In the 44th minute, Barry Lonergan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dallas Todman was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. The Brookong players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Chelsea were winning 0-3.

Barry Lonergans short, quick shot in the 52ndth minute got Dallas Todman to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Reese Holdsworth struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Nathan Cochrane didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Brookong. Brookong's Dallas Todman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Norman Krause in the 56th minute of play. Barry Lonergan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 58 minutes into the match, Norman Krause dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Dallas Todman, 0-4. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Norman Krause in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dallas Todman saved Brookong from getting behind. A collision led to Brookong getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Lawrance Leach hit a great ball. Norman Krause recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Barry Lonergan scored 0-5 in the 75th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dallas Todman, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Dallas Todman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Norman Krause in the 81st minute of the match. Dallas Todman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Norman Krause, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andrew Haeberle in the 88th minute of play forced Brookong's goalkeeper Dallas Todman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Barry Lonergan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Norman Krause fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dallas Todman having to interfere. When the match was over Chelsea could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Brookong throughout the match.
