Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Peter Ramsay kicked off to start the match. In the 4thth minute of the game Peter Ramsay who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Barberton's Andrews Hart was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 6 minutes into the match, Edward Zalunardo notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Carani's Andrews Mcvey. Andrews Mcvey was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Lowrey Fortington hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Logan Aliendi hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Barberton's Jarrett Blackham got a free kick in the 20th minute. Andrews Hart showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Peter Ramsay, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. In the 26th match minute, Barberton was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edward Zalunardo to maneuver through the defense. Andrews Hart made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Peter Ramsay in the 32nd minute of play. Carani's Andrews Mcvey played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ivan Oconnell in the 34th minute of play. In the 36thth minute of the game Edward Zalunardo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Carani's Andrews Mcvey was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Ivan Oconnell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Danton Domenichetti sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Edward Zalunardo was the one to do the kick off. Andrews Mcvey made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jonty Lorenz in the 55th minute. In the 60th minute, Peter Ramsay got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Peter Ramsay fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andrews Hart having to interfere. Brock Conlan scored 1-1 in the 65th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Andrews Hart, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Carani's zone, Ivan Oconnell stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Andrews Mcvey came out of the goal and Ivan Oconnell tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edward Zalunardo in the 75th minute of play forced Carani's goalkeeper Andrews Mcvey to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Barberton's Edward Zalunardo got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With his leg Andrews Mcvey managed to avoid a goal in the 78thth minute, when Barberton's Ivan Oconnell fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. When Peter Ramsay came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Carani fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Peter Ramsay couldn't finish the play. If Peter Ramsay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ivan Oconnell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andrews Mcvey having to interfere. If Brock Conlan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
