Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Peter Lucas kicked off to start the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Potter Parryman during the 2nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 4 minutes in the game, Peter Ramsay fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Buck Mcgaw having to interfere. A hard shot 8 in the game by Brock Conlan from a close distance when the talented Buck Mcgaw managed to make a qualified save. blackwoood's players were relieved. Brock Conlan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Buck Mcgaw tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Roy Didlick recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in blackwoood's zone, Peter Ramsay stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Buck Mcgaw came out of the goal and Peter Ramsay tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lowrey Fortington charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lowrey Fortington the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Lowrey Fortington kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Tiger Sugden hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Roy Didlick sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 28 minutes, Roy Didlick made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Carani's Andrews Mcvey tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Roy Didlick struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Andrews Mcvey didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for blackwoood. After 34 played minutes Carani got a freekick which was hit by Lowrey Fortington. Potter Parryman was shown his second yellow card after 36 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After 37 played minutes blackwoood got a freekick which was hit by Potter Parryman. Buck Mcgaw showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Peter Ramsay in the 38th minute of the match. blackwoood's Darin Mealmaker got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Peter Ramsay to make the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Carani's zone, Peter Lucas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Andrews Mcvey came out of the goal and Peter Lucas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Buck Mcgaw showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Brock Conlan, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Roy Didlick's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Andrews Mcvey read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 60th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Peter Ramsay in the 63rd minute of play forced blackwoood's goalkeeper Buck Mcgaw to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Roy Didlick fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andrews Mcvey having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Roy Didlick got free with Andrews Mcvey in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Roy Didlick managed to get in a good position for a shot. blackwoood's supporters rose to their feet, but Roy Didlick was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Andrews Mcvey breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 72 minutes, Brock Conlan made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. blackwoood's Buck Mcgaw tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 79th minute the ball was on its way in behind Carani's goalkeeper Andrews Mcvey, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Buck Mcgaw showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Peter Ramsay, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. In the 83rd minute of the match Logan Aliendi sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Buck Mcgaw skillfully saved the ball. In the 94th minute of the match Mack Schultz sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Andrews Mcvey skillfully saved the ball. Roy Didlick received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Andrews Mcvey tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee blew the final whistle, Carani could leave the field as winners, despite blackwoood having more of the ball for most of the match.
