NSW Fighters's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Jarrett Connolly showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Boris Ogle in the 32nd minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers John Colman in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jarrett Connolly saved NSW Fighters from getting behind. 37 minutes into the match, NSW Fighters's goal looked a bit too open when John Colman came free, but Jarrett Connolly reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 38 minutes into the match, NSW Fighters's goal looked a bit too open when Boris Ogle came free, but Jarrett Connolly reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nathaniel Woods in the 76th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jarrett Connolly prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Norwood getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Edgar Conlin hit a great ball. Murphy Beins charged in rather forcefully in the 79th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Murphy Beins the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of NSW Fighters booed when Norwood was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Murphy Beins didn't get a good kick on the ball.
