Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Elliott Feutrill took the kick off in the first half of the match. 3 minutes into the match, Baryulgil's Elliott Feutrill sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Otto Durbridge narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Kirby Feutrill hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. Otto Durbridge showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elliott Feutrill in the 7th minute of the match. Dallas Smoothey took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edwin Mewburn, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Through an outstanding action, after 12 minutes, Otto Durbridge successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Kirby Feutrill hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Dale Aistrope's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 17thth minute, Otto Durbridge skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. When the match had gone on for 18 minutes, Elliott Feutrill took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Otto Durbridge to make any attempt to save it. After 22 minutes of play, Melbourne Glory's Edwin Mewburn made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dallas Smoothey was left in no man's land by his defense there! Dale Aistrope blasted a shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Otto Durbridge having to make a save. 43 minutes into the match, Melbourne Glory's goalkeeper Otto Durbridge had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dale Aistrope. Benson Quinn kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. If Dale Aistrope had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 47th minute, Elliott Feutrill reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Otto Durbridge. The goal made the score 2-1.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and John Notley made a kick off. Otto Durbridge took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dale Aistrope, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If John Notley had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When John Notley came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Melbourne Glory fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that John Notley couldn't finish the play. In the 64th match minute, Melbourne Glory was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Brice Arkinstall to maneuver through the defense. If Dale Aistrope had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. John Notley struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Dallas Smoothey didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Melbourne Glory. If Elliott Feutrill had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 83rd minute, Boris Peterson sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Melbourne Glory's Otto Durbridge didn't even have to move. Melbourne Glory's Otto Durbridge played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elliott Feutrill in the 90th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dale Aistrope in the 92nd minute of play forced Melbourne Glory's goalkeeper Otto Durbridge to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dallas Smoothey didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Edwin Mewburn went, in the 94th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. The Melbourne Glory players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Baryulgil from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
