Walgett's Marshall Chant proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save Walgett from getting a goal against them. In the 11th minute, Meyer Leach fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Bray Rishton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Marshall Chant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Meyer Leach's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marshall Chant was relentless in the 14th minute of the game. Meyer Leach's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marshall Chant read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. Marshall Chant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Meyer Leach, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Meyer Leach had several of the Walgett's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 23 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Marshall Chant as he didn't even see the shot coming. Meyer Leach received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Bray Rishton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marshall Chant having to interfere. Walgett's Marshall Chant proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save Walgett from getting a goal against them. 38 minutes into the match, Walgett's goal looked a bit too open when Boyd Shipp came free, but Marshall Chant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marshall Chant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Boyd Shipp in the 38th minute of play.

Mark Belford took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pete Keayes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Walgett booed when Red Bull London was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Michael Quigley didn't get a good kick on the ball. Red Bull London's Meyer Leach got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Walgett's Marshall Chant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Meyer Leach in the 61st minute of play. Al Fieldhouse hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. In the 70th minute, Britton Lambourne hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 71st minute, Bickford Bohn sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Walgett's Marshall Chant didn't even have to move. Marshall Chant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bray Rishton in the 73rd minute of the match. Bray Rishton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Marshall Chant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bock Porter during the 80th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 84thth minute of the game Bray Rishton who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Walgett's Marshall Chant was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Walgett booed when Red Bull London was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Boyd Shipp didn't get a good kick on the ball. Red Bull London walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
