Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Broderick Newton made the kick off which started today's match. Jackson Andrusiow took the ball and in the 5 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Larry Bleazard. Larry Bleazard dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. In the 8th minute, Samuel Hoey ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ringo Rhoades was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. The supporters of Avoca booed when Wamberal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arneil Stageman didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 16th minute, Samuel Hoey left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Avoca fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. 19 minutes into the game, Jackson Andrusiow lined in a short shot 2-2 behind a frustrated Larry Bleazard. Larry Bleazard made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jackson Andrusiow in the 23rd minute. Ringo Rhoades didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Samuel Hoey went, in the 25th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-3 was the resulting score. Stephan Serena might have been able to make a better finish in the 31st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ringo Rhoades. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Stephan Serena ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 33rdth minute of the game Stephan Serena who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Wamberal's Ringo Rhoades was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jackson Andrusiow recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 40th match minute, Avoca was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carleton Mcvicar to maneuver through the defense. Jackson Andrusiow had several of the Avoca's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 41 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 3-3 score and a disappointed Larry Bleazard as he didn't even see the shot coming. In the 47th minute, Carleton Mcvicar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Avoca's Larry Bleazard got control of the ball when Jackson Andrusiow tried to sneak it across the goal line. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 3-3 after a close first half.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Stephan Serena was the one to do the kick off. Jackson Andrusiow sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Avoca's Carleton Mcvicar got a free kick in the 59th minute. Broderick Newton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Larry Bleazard tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 61st match minute, Wamberal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Broderick Newton to maneuver through the defense. Jackson Andrusiow might have been able to make a better finish in the 63rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Larry Bleazard. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jackson Andrusiow ran back to his position shaking his head. Broderick Newton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Avoca's Larry Bleazard played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Broderick Newton in the 64th minute of play. When the match clock showed 76 minutes, the score became 4-3 when Broderick Newton sped through Avoca's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Larry Bleazard. Samuel Hoey struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Ringo Rhoades didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Avoca. Ringo Rhoades made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stephan Serena in the 89th minute of play. Broderick Newton blasted a shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Larry Bleazard having to make a save. Samuel Hoey sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Stephan Serena sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Avoca's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
