Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Antony Biddell started the match with the kick off. When the match had gone on for 4 minutes, Antony Biddell took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Bryant Rose to make any attempt to save it. In the 7th minute, Boyde Leyden hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Palmervill booed when Eatonsville was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jamese Mckinnes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Antony Biddell recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Barnard Sewell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bryant Rose having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Eatonsville's zone, Barnard Sewell stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bryant Rose came out of the goal and Barnard Sewell tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a defensive mix-up in Palmervill's zone, Niles Howie stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ivan Solomon came out of the goal and Niles Howie tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 27 minutes into the game, Andy Watman was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Eatonsville's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Palmervill the free kick. Hank Mcgrath received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Ivan Solomon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Barnard Sewell managed to get in a good position for a shot. Palmervill's supporters rose to their feet, but Barnard Sewell was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bryant Rose breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Palmervill's Barnard Sewell came free and shot a quick shot against goal 38 minutes in the game, fortunately Bryant Rose had problems saving as it came toward the left post. After 40 minutes of play, Palmervill's Barnard Sewell made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bryant Rose was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Antony Biddell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hank Mcgrath to make the kick off. Barnard Sewell scored 3-0 in the 51st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bryant Rose, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Eatonsville's Andy Watman got a free kick in the 55th minute. After a rather tough play, Palmervill's Antony Biddell got a free kick in the 57th minute. Hank Mcgrath kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. 61 minutes into the match, Barnard Sewell had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bryant Rose. Eatonsville's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Barnard Sewell was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. Rodney Gummow's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bryant Rose read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 65th minute of play. Hank Mcgrath fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ivan Solomon having to interfere. Bryant Rose took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Barnard Sewell, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 78th minute, Rodney Gummow hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Niles Howie sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eatonsville's Bryant Rose played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Barnard Sewell in the 86th minute of play. When Bremen Obree fell near the penalty area in the 87th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Eatonsville's protests and gave Bremen Obree a yellow card for diving instead. Hank Mcgrath charged in rather forcefully in the 90th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hank Mcgrath the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Palmervill booed when Eatonsville was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hank Mcgrath didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 93 played minutes, Palmervill's Bryan Shortus shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Bryant Rose came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Palmervill reached it. For all the effort they put into the match, the Eatonsville players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Palmervill.
