Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Brynn Rummens started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 3 minutes into the match, Brynn Rummens notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Kyeemagh's Jarrod Stevenson. Jarrod Stevenson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Best Mundine sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Kyeemagh booed when Sydney Rockets was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nathaniel Gruer didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Brynn Rummens, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 16 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Jarrod Stevenson was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Angelo Brophy hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. 21 minutes into the game, Brynn Rummens cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Jarrod Stevenson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Casper Berresford hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. In the 26th minute, Sydney Rockets's Brynn Rummens ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jarrod Stevenson. Jarrod Stevenson yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. Brad Sanderson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 46 minutes into the match, Sydney Rockets's goal looked a bit too open when Phillip Pegler came free, but Jarrod Paddle reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Phillip Pegler made the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Kyeemagh's zone, Best Mundine stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jarrod Stevenson came out of the goal and Best Mundine tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jarrod Paddle stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Phillip Pegler's shot from short distance in the 61st minute. 64 minutes into the match, Sydney Rockets's goal looked a bit too open when Phillip Pegler came free, but Jarrod Paddle reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Kyeemagh's zone, Best Mundine stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jarrod Stevenson came out of the goal and Best Mundine tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Brad Sanderson was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 68th minute. Kyeemagh's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Brad Sanderson in the 71stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Jarrod Paddle, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 73 minutes in the game, Phillip Pegler fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Jarrod Paddle having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Kyeemagh's zone, Best Mundine stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jarrod Stevenson came out of the goal and Best Mundine tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brynn Rummens in the 81st minute of play forced Kyeemagh's goalkeeper Jarrod Stevenson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Brad Sanderson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Jarrod Paddle made a huge save. 84 minutes in the game, Phillip Pegler fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Jarrod Paddle having to interfere. After recieving a nice pass, Kyeemagh's Berny Delbridge tried to score from far away in the 89th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 92nd minute Phillip Pegler shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jarrod Paddle saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Brynn Rummens received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Jarrod Stevenson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sydney Rockets were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Kyeemagh for a fine match.
