Knights Templar's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabrizio Atterton in the 11th minute of play forced Pekina's goalkeeper Corder Kreck to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Steve Moran's late challenge caught a Knights Templar's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Steve Moran helped the player get up and apologised. In the last second Corder Kreck throw himself and got hold of the ball when Fabrizio Atterton in the 21stth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. When %teams%'s Fabrizio Atterton was free in front of goal, he didn't hesitate to shoot 1-1 just inside the left pole, 32 minutes into the game. Corder Kreck was annoyed at himself for letting in the shot. In the 36th minute of the match Bill Haeberle sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Henry Millard skillfully saved the ball. Steve Moran sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Knights Templar booed when Pekina was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bill Haeberle didn't get a good kick on the ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Fabrizio Atterton made a kick off. When Fabrizio Atterton came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Knights Templar fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fabrizio Atterton couldn't finish the play. Fabrizio Atterton's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Corder Kreck read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 57th minute of play. Corder Kreck showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabrizio Atterton in the 58th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Knights Templar's Fabrizio Atterton got a free kick in the 60th minute. In the 61st minute of the match Bill Haeberle shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Henry Millard showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Fabrizio Atterton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Corder Kreck having to interfere. 67 minutes into the match, Pekina's goal looked a bit too open when Fabrizio Atterton came free, but Corder Kreck reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Pekina's Steve Moran got a free kick in the 68th minute. 69 minutes into the game, Knights Templar's Fabrizio Atterton nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Corder Kreck made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Howie Winkless recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 84 played minutes Knights Templar got a freekick which was hit by Otto Callaghan. 87 minutes into the match, Knights Templar's goalkeeper Henry Millard had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Howie Winkless.
