After a rather tough play, AFC Sutherland's Barry Malacarne got a free kick in the 9th minute. A long shot from Jesse Glover in the 10th minute of play was well struck, but Charles Mcgrath made a really good save at the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Biggs Peterson in the 13th minute of play forced The comeback kids's goalkeeper Ben Travers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Brandes Peplow hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. In the 19th minute, Brye Ross hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Antonio Colman came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the The comeback kids fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Antonio Colman couldn't finish the play. AFC Sutherland's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Antonio Colman 22 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. Neale Quinnell struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Ben Travers didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for AFC Sutherland. When Berny Tinsley fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored The comeback kids's protests and gave Berny Tinsley a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to The comeback kids getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Berny Tinsley hit a great ball. AFC Sutherland's Neale Quinnell got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 39th match minute, The comeback kids was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Berny Tinsley to maneuver through the defense. After 41 played minutes The comeback kids got a freekick which was hit by Aron Letsch. Ben Travers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Biggs Peterson in the 44th minute of play. Biggs Peterson took the ball and in the 44 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ben Travers. Ben Travers dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Charles Mcgrath showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antonio Colman, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

With a little luck, The comeback kids's Ben Travers got control of the ball when Biggs Peterson tried to sneak it across the goal line. Aron Letsch hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. 59 minutes into the match, Neale Quinnell had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ben Travers. The comeback kids's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Neale Quinnell was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. The comeback kids's Ben Travers proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save The comeback kids from getting a goal against them. Ben Travers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Neale Quinnell in the 67th minute of the match. Charles Mcgrath didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Damon Laughton went, in the 89th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-3 was the resulting score. After 93 minutes of play, AFC Sutherland's Biggs Peterson made it 3-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ben Travers was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 96th minute, Barry Malacarne hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The AFC Sutherland players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
