Reese Czaczka's late challenge caught a Hedges's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Reese Czaczka helped the player get up and apologised. In the 5th minute, Reese Czaczka hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nick Mcgregor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Meyer Domenichetti in the 7th minute of the match. 8 minutes into the game, Conner Perrett recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Peter Algoud. Conner Perrett showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. In the 14th minute the ball was on its way in behind Finley's goalkeeper Nick Mcgregor, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 16 minutes into the game, Bill Triplett was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hedges's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Finley the free kick. Peter Algoud made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Conner Perrett sent off a good shot on target. Peter Algoud made an important save on a dangerous shot by Reese Czaczka in the 28th minute. In the 29th minute of the match, Ellis Hoskin tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Peter Algoud saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Nick Mcgregor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rodd Pears, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 38 minutes into the match, Hedges's goal looked a bit too open when Ellis Hoskin came free, but Peter Algoud reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 42 minutes into the match, Hedges's goalkeeper Peter Algoud had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Reese Czaczka. When the match had gone on for 43 minutes, Ellis Hoskin took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Peter Algoud to make any attempt to save it.

The supporters of Hedges booed when Finley was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Randall Smee didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nick Mcgregor came out of the goal and Brannan Blackham tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hedges's Peter Algoud played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Reese Czaczka in the 80th minute of play. In the 82nd minute of the match Remington Mcinnes sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nick Mcgregor skillfully saved the ball. Peter Algoud showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Reese Czaczka, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Angelo Waterland during the 86th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Reese Czaczka took the ball and in the 92 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Peter Algoud. Peter Algoud dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0.
