Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Ellis Hoskin got the match started through his kick off. Tiger Mealmaker came out of the goal in the 4th minute to try and stop a shot by Finley's Conner Perrett. But to his dismay, Conner Perrett quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 6th minute of the match, Bryson Newham tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Nick Mcgregor saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 14th minute Boyde Renny shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tiger Mealmaker saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Matt Tauschke charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Matt Tauschke the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 18 played minutes Dunvegan got a freekick which was hit by Matt Tauschke. Boyde Renny fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tiger Mealmaker having to interfere. In the 23rd minute, Boyde Renny got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dane Howard hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ellis Hoskin in the 26th minute of play forced Dunvegan's goalkeeper Tiger Mealmaker to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dunvegan's Tiger Mealmaker played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ellis Hoskin in the 27th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Adolfo Ceney managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dunvegan's supporters rose to their feet, but Adolfo Ceney was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nick Mcgregor breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 32 minutes into the match, Finley's goalkeeper Nick Mcgregor had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Adolfo Ceney. Conner Perrett sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Finley's Lucas Schulzte got a free kick in the 37th minute. 39 minutes into the game, Adolfo Ceney was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Dunvegan's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Finley the free kick. The supporters of Finley booed when Dunvegan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adolfo Ceney didn't get a good kick on the ball. 42 minutes into the match, Finley's goal looked a bit too open when Bryson Newham came free, but Nick Mcgregor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Dunvegan booed when Finley was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Angelo Waterland didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, Dunvegan's Bryson Newham tried to score from far away in the 43rd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 44th match minute, Finley was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Angelo Waterland to maneuver through the defense. Dunvegan's Bryson Newham couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 45th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Finley. Boyde Renny charged in rather forcefully in the 46th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Boyde Renny the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 46 played minutes Finley got a freekick which was hit by Boyde Renny. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.
Bryson Newham kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Dunvegan's Tiger Mealmaker played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Boyde Renny in the 54th minute of play. Jeremy Whitmore lost his temper 56 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Dunvegan fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 55th minute. Penalty! The goalkeeper, Tiger Mealmaker, was totally fooled by Finley's Ellis Hoskin, who 57 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. 60 minutes into the match, Dunvegan's Adolfo Ceney sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nick Mcgregor narrowly saved just below the crossbar. During the 65th minute of the match Boyde Renny completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Boyde Renny a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Boyde Renny hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Adolfo Ceney fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nick Mcgregor having to interfere. Tiger Mealmaker took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Conner Perrett, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nick Mcgregor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adolfo Ceney in the 72nd minute of the match. Matt Tauschke recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Adolfo Ceney fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nick Mcgregor having to interfere. After having played for 80 minutes, Adolfo Ceney managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dunvegan's supporters crossed their fingers, but Adolfo Ceney was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Adolfo Ceney had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 87th minute, Brynn Grieve hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Reese Czaczka sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nick Mcgregor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bishop Weatherby in the 93rd minute of play. 95 minutes into the match, Finley's goal looked a bit too open when Bishop Weatherby came free, but Nick Mcgregor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Adolfo Ceney fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nick Mcgregor having to interfere. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
