The attack was good, but when Marshal Aliendi in the 11th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. In the 17th minute of the match Bryson Newham sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Peter Algoud skillfully saved the ball. After 17 played minutes Hedges got a freekick which was hit by Meyer Domenichetti. Bryson Newham took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 18th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Peter Algoud. Hedges's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 20 minutes, Jeremy Whitmore mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Dunvegan and the Hedges players grew even worse after the yellow card. Jeremy Whitmore hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Peter Algoud took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adolfo Ceney, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tiger Mealmaker showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marshal Aliendi, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Bryson Newham received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Peter Algoud came out and tried to block the shot, but Bryson Newham slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 35th minute. With a little luck, Hedges's Peter Algoud got control of the ball when Adolfo Ceney tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 39 played minutes Dunvegan got a freekick which was hit by Bishop Weatherby. In the 42nd minute, Berkeley Wenham hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Peter Algoud made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bishop Weatherby in the 45th minute.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bryson Newham was the one to do the kick off. Dunvegan walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
