Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Canobolas's Ignacio Manuel started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 8th minute of the match Canobolas got a corner. PEPE United's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ignacio Manuel ran over to the corner to take the kick. Canobolas's Ignacio Manuel was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Filomeno Jerico in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Phillip Dorrell kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. Irwin Thomas took the ball and in the 12 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Filomeno Jerico. Filomeno Jerico dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Irwin Thomas hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benjy Nelson in the 17th minute of play forced PEPE United's goalkeeper Filomeno Jerico to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Quincy Dobson's late challenge caught a Canobolas's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Quincy Dobson helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Canobolas booed when PEPE United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Quincy Dobson didn't get a good kick on the ball. 28 minutes into the match, Ignacio Manuel notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of PEPE United's Filomeno Jerico. Filomeno Jerico was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. PEPE United's Alford Yard got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gigel Minteuan hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. In the 42nd match minute, PEPE United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Quincy Dobson to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 48 minutes, Ignacio Manuel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Canobolas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ignacio Manuel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.
The wind increased when Alford Yard made the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the game, Canobolas's Benjy Nelson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Filomeno Jerico made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. In the 57th minute Alford Yard shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adolfo Mcvey saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Adolfo Mcvey took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alford Yard, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Quincy Dobson was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 58 minutes had been played. In the 59th match minute, PEPE United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Quincy Dobson to maneuver through the defense. 61 minutes into the match, Irwin Thomas notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of PEPE United's Filomeno Jerico. Filomeno Jerico was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Bishop Allan charged in rather forcefully in the 65th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bishop Allan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Bishop Allan kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Benjy Nelson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Ignacio Manuel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Canobolas's supporters rose to their feet, but Ignacio Manuel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Filomeno Jerico breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. PEPE United's Filomeno Jerico played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Irwin Thomas in the 74th minute of play. 76 minutes into the match, Shane Warne notched a goal, 7-0, to the right of PEPE United's Filomeno Jerico. Filomeno Jerico was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 86thth minute of the game Ignacio Manuel who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but PEPE United's Filomeno Jerico was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 88th minute, Irwin Thomas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Filomeno Jerico was frozen by the shot and now it was 8-0. When the referee ended the match the Canobolas players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
