Quagitup's Farid Mondragón played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xan Cembrana in the 22nd minute of play. When the match had gone on for 27 minutes, Luke Coleman took a quick shot and it went in 4-0 without a chance for Brockman Mcinnes to make any attempt to save it. If Abbott Beverley had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Brockman Mcinnes was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Fabrício Vinhas showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 5-0 in the 33 minute of play. In the 36th minute, Alberto Cochrane left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Quagitup fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. 39 minutes in the game, Alberto Cochrane fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Brockman Mcinnes having to interfere. In the 44th minute, Howard Shirdon made a precise shot to the right of Brockman Mcinnes. Perth Glory's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fabrício Vinhas was the one to do the kick off. After 56 minutes of play, Quagitup's Alberto Cochrane made it 8-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Brockman Mcinnes was left in no man's land by his defense there! Brockman Mcinnes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto Cochrane, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Perth Glory's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Abbott Beverley was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 12-0. Quagitup's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
