With a little luck, Gradger's Nelson Crane got control of the ball when Stan Stevens tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Pembroke FC getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Dale Butterworth hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that 陶潮枫's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Carlisle Baxter was relentless in the 45th minute of the game. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell 陶潮枫 to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dale Butterworth in the 74th minute of play forced Gradger's goalkeeper Nelson Crane to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 77th minute of the match Tommy Nelson shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nelson Crane showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 81 played minutes Gradger got a freekick which was hit by Umea Antolin. Gradger's Nelson Crane played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dale Butterworth in the 82nd minute of play. 84 minutes into the match, Dale Butterworth had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nelson Crane. Gradger's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dale Butterworth was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. In the 91st minute Dale Butterworth shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nelson Crane saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers 陶潮枫 in the 92nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Carlisle Baxter saved Pembroke FC from getting behind. Carlisle Baxter stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of 陶潮枫's shot from short distance in the 95th minute.
