Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Jacob Wakefield made the kick off which started today's match. In the 4th minute, Darren Fasey hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Pembroke FC's Stan Stevens got a free kick in the 6th minute. When Dante Dorrell came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Skoolage United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dante Dorrell couldn't finish the play. After having played for 14 minutes, Stan Stevens managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pembroke FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Stan Stevens was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Pembroke FC booed when Skoolage United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Darren Fasey didn't get a good kick on the ball. Larkins Cudmore kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. After 18 played minutes Pembroke FC got a freekick which was hit by Nichol Trenoweth. Dale Butterworth might have been able to make a better finish in the 21st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lauder Turnbull. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dale Butterworth ran back to his position shaking his head. After 23 played minutes Pembroke FC got a freekick which was hit by Larry Solomon. Darrell Sanderson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Carlisle Baxter showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Darrell Sanderson in the 26th minute of the match. Lauder Turnbull made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stan Stevens in the 29th minute of play. Larkins Cudmore's late challenge caught a Skoolage United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Larkins Cudmore helped the player get up and apologised. Nichol Trenoweth sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After some careless play in the Skoolage United defense, Dale Butterworth kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lauder Turnbull. The Skoolage United fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lauder Turnbull should have stopped the shot. 42 minutes into the game, Dale Butterworth cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Lauder Turnbull was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Dale Butterworth sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

54 minutes into the match, Skoolage United's goal looked a bit too open when Dale Butterworth came free, but Lauder Turnbull reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 57th minute, Lucas Grieve hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 59 minutes, Remy Mcjunkin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Skoolage United and the Pembroke FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Lauder Turnbull was out of position in the 60 minute of play, and Dale Butterworth capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Dale Butterworth really showed his touch with that goal: 0-3. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dale Butterworth in the 63rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lauder Turnbull saved Skoolage United from getting behind. Lauder Turnbull didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Stan Stevens went, in the 73rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. Jacob Wakefield fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlisle Baxter having to interfere. Carlisle Baxter came out of the goal in the 82nd minute to try and stop a shot by Skoolage United's Dante Dorrell. But to his dismay, Dante Dorrell quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. Lauder Turnbull took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alan Kepert, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 90th minute, Larry Durbridge hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dante Dorrell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlisle Baxter having to interfere. When the final whistle went the supporters of Pembroke FC were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Skoolage United side.
