Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Paul Negulescu kicked off to start the match. If Sandro Galishoff had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 6th minute Sandro Galishoff shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Radu Ciordaș saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 9 minutes into the match, Wolves Academy's goal looked a bit too open when Sandro Galishoff came free, but Radu Ciordaș reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Jonas Nalder had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sandro Galishoff took the ball and in the 19 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Radu Ciordaș. Radu Ciordaș dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Sandro Galishoff sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 24 played minutes Wolves Academy got a freekick which was hit by Cosmin Mestecăneanu. When Fabio Schneider came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Austria fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fabio Schneider couldn't finish the play. After 32 played minutes Wolves Academy got a freekick which was hit by Felix Vidican. When Sandro Galishoff came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Austria fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sandro Galishoff couldn't finish the play. Austria's Fabio Schneider suffered a concussion after 34 minutes and had to leave the field. Cosmin Mestecăneanu charged in rather forcefully in the 34th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cosmin Mestecăneanu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Austria made a substitution. Manuel Buber replaced Fabio Schneider. After 36 played minutes Wolves Academy got a freekick which was hit by Cosmin Mestecăneanu. After 37 minutes, Alexandru Timaru mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Wolves Academy and the Austria players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 37th match minute, Wolves Academy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alexandru Timaru to maneuver through the defense. Radu Ciordaș showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sandro Galishoff in the 38th minute of the match. When Austria's Sandro Galishoff in the 41st minute got a chance for a shot 41st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Wolves Academy's goalie prevented a goal. If Gigel Orescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 48th minute, Sandro Galishoff managed to get in a good position for a shot. Austria's supporters rose to their feet, but Sandro Galishoff was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Radu Ciordaș breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

In the 55th match minute, Austria was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Manuel Buber to maneuver through the defense. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 56th minute of the game. One of Austria:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Wolves Academy:s goal. In the 58th minute there was a penalty for Wolves Academy. Dragoş Buznea stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Fabio Auer. 1-1. Radu Ciordaș made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Sandro Galishoff sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Austria getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Rafael Riedl hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Wolves Academy's zone, Sandro Galishoff stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Radu Ciordaș came out of the goal and Sandro Galishoff tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Marvin Harrer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 73rd minute, Sandro Galishoff got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 74th minute, Manuel Buber hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Austria's Fabio Auer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paul Negulescu in the 77th minute of play. Austria's Sandro Galishoff got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Paul Negulescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fabio Auer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paul Negulescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Sandro Galishoff blasted a shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Radu Ciordaș having to make a save. Manuel Buber might have been able to make a better finish in the 94th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Radu Ciordaș. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Manuel Buber ran back to his position shaking his head. Manuel Buber fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Radu Ciordaș having to interfere.
