Marius Prestin was slow to take the kick. During this time West Staines Massive's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Marius Prestin got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Keld Paulsen quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Denmark's attentive Simon Bendtsen managed to snatch the ball when Marius Prestin made a throw-in in the 41st minute of the game. Keld Paulsen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Patrick Galvão, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Michael Weniger kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. Keld Paulsen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Michael Weniger in the 47th minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Helmuth Follmann received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Keld Paulsen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Michael Weniger's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Keld Paulsen read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 64th minute of play. In the 65th minute, one of Denmark:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Denmark. The referee gave West Staines Massive a penalty, 66 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Michael Weniger, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Denmark's Keld Paulsen. 2-0. In the 70th minute of the match West Staines Massive got a corner. Denmark's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Marius Prestin ran over to the corner to take the kick. After 74 played minutes West Staines Massive got a freekick which was hit by Romão Zarco. In the 78th minute Patrick Galvão shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Keld Paulsen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 80th minute, Karl Marx hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Michael Weniger came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the West Staines Massive fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Michael Weniger couldn't finish the play. 88 minutes into the game, Marius Prestin threw the ball into play from the sideline. Denmark's Simon Bendtsen quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. 90 minutes into the match, Patrick Galvão had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Keld Paulsen. Denmark's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Patrick Galvão was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. West Staines Massive's Jonny Clayton was substituted for Helmuth Follmann. Keld Paulsen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jose Eduino in the 95th minute of the match. After 95 played minutes Denmark got a freekick which was hit by Chris Nygaard. West Staines Massive's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
