A collision led to Germany getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Janik Vogt hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Rasmus Højlund's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tommy Kahn was relentless in the 14th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, GD Almargense's António Sousa got a free kick in the 15th minute. Sven Krakouer hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alexandre Eanes in the 18th minute of play forced Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tommy Kahn made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Benedito Rebelo sent off a good shot on target. Celso Eiró came free with the goalkeeper in the 21st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Tommy Kahn could save by the left post. With a little luck, Germany's Tommy Kahn got control of the ball when Rasmus Højlund tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Germany's Malte Schiele got a free kick in the 24th minute. In the 25th minute, Germany's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Celso Eiró fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Celso Eiró got free with Tommy Kahn in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Benedito Rebelo scored 1-0 in the 29th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tommy Kahn, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Rasmus Højlund fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tommy Kahn having to interfere. Germany's players were relieved. 41 minutes into the match, Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Celso Eiró. Tommy Kahn was a little too slow when Celso Eiró got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 41st minute. The score was now 2-0. Tommy Kahn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rasmus Højlund in the 44th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rasmus Højlund in the 45th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tommy Kahn prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Frank Sachs was the one to do the kick off. In the 50th minute, Rui Ramires hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 57 minutes into the match, Celso Eiró notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Germany's Tommy Kahn. Tommy Kahn was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 63rdth minute of the game Alexandre Valadares who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Germany's Tommy Kahn was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 64th match minute, GD Almargense was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jacinto Baldaia to maneuver through the defense. Frank Sachs received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Claudemiro Tristão tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tommy Kahn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlos Vides in the 70th minute of the match. The supporters of Germany booed when GD Almargense was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jacinto Baldaia didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlos Vides in the 82nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, GD Almargense's Jacinto Baldaia got a free kick in the 87th minute. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. GD Almargense had played much better football throughout.
