An unexpectedly hard shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 3rd minute of play forced Couto Mixto F.C.'s goalkeeper Christopher Langford to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Couto Mixto F.C.'s Christopher Langford played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 5th minute of play. Christopher Langford showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wim Wilmes, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. In the 13th match minute, Couto Mixto F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Basilio Alabern to maneuver through the defense. Gustaaf Groeneveldt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lars Meesters recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Couto Mixto F.C. players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Netherlands were winning 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gijsbert ter Kruimer made a kick off. Wim Wilmes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 59 played minutes Netherlands got a freekick which was hit by David Eikelkamp. In the 60th minute of the match Wei De Ling shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Arnout Reekers showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 69 minutes into the match, Lars Meesters dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Christopher Langford, 0-2. Couto Mixto F.C.'s Natalio Telo was substituted for Eneko Quesada. 76 minutes into the match, Couto Mixto F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Lars Meesters came free, but Christopher Langford reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 86 minutes into the match, Couto Mixto F.C.'s goalkeeper Christopher Langford had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Wim Wilmes. After 86 played minutes Wim Wilmes rounded Couto Mixto F.C.'s defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-3. Couto Mixto F.C.'s Nurtekin Özguc managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Gust Ennemans in the 89 minute of the game. In the 94th minute, Gijsbert ter Kruimer reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Christopher Langford. The goal made the score 0-4. Netherlands played a much better game than Couto Mixto F.C. and deserved their victory. The Couto Mixto F.C. players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
