Hristofor Borchev showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Siricio Liotta in the 3rd minute of the match. Aleks Vaskov struck a weak shot in the 8th minute. Flavio Vittori didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Бенковски Тетевен. 17 minutes into the match, Бенковски Тетевен's goal looked a bit too open when Zaccheo Andolina came free, but Hristofor Borchev reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Italy's Flavio Vittori proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save Italy from getting a goal against them. 20 minutes into the match, Бенковски Тетевен's goal looked a bit too open when Zaccheo Andolina came free, but Hristofor Borchev reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Aleks Vaskov kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Flavio Vittori. That made the score 1-0 in the 27 minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aleks Vaskov got free with Flavio Vittori in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Hristofor Borchev took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zaccheo Andolina, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 37 minutes into the game, Aleks Vaskov cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Flavio Vittori was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Zaccheo Andolina made a kick off. In the 56th minute Aleks Vaskov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Flavio Vittori saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ömer Bayram hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Sigfrido Auletta could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Hristofor Borchev made a huge save. Hristofor Borchev took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zaccheo Andolina, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aleks Vaskov in the 71st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Flavio Vittori prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 72nd minute, Traian Delas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 73 played minutes Бенковски Тетевен got a freekick which was hit by Traian Delas. In the 75th minute the ball was on its way in behind Бенковски Тетевен's goalkeeper Hristofor Borchev, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 78 minutes had been played when some careless play by Бенковски Тетевен's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Sigfrido Auletta was slow to take the kick. During this time Italy's players had a chance to rest. Flavio Vittori showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Francisc Turcu, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Italy made a substitution. Guiscardo Davide replaced Sigfrido Auletta. 87 minutes into the match, Бенковски Тетевен's goalkeeper Hristofor Borchev had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Guiscardo Davide. In the 90th minute, Aleks Vaskov got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Adriano Curto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Many of Italy's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Italy may have spent more time on the ball, but Бенковски Тетевен were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
