Victoria Toruń's Borys Poreda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gösta Söderberg in the 8th minute of play. After 9 minutes Victoria Toruń's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ali Hamza Hanefi who took care of the corner kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ime Mavros got free with Borys Poreda in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. But to his dismay, Ime Mavros quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Borys Poreda made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ime Mavros in the 36th minute. After some careless play in the Victoria Toruń defense, Ime Mavros kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Borys Poreda. The Victoria Toruń fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Borys Poreda should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, KANONIERZY's Gösta Söderberg got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Eduardo Beltran made in the 44th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Ime Mavros immediately put the ball in play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dragolyub Dzhahov in the 46th minute of play forced KANONIERZY's goalkeeper Christian Abbiati to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Zhu Yan Quan made the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zhu Yan Quan in the 74th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Christian Abbiati saved KANONIERZY from getting behind. In the 77th minute Ime Mavros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Borys Poreda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Borys Poreda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ime Mavros in the 81st minute of play.
