Sagene IF's Wang Zhen Tian got a good chance for a goal in the 6th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 7 minutes into the game, Leonhard Maier was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Austria's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sagene IF the free kick. If Hans-Kristian Aanes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Fabio Auer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Torstein Solli in the 21st minute of the match. After 24 played minutes Austria got a freekick which was hit by Leonhard Maier. If Hans-Kristian Aanes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 28 played minutes Sagene IF got a freekick which was hit by Ivan Óbolo. Sandro Galishoff, 29 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Ivan Óbolo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fabio Auer having to make a save. Fabio Auer was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Hans-Kristian Aanes showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 39 minute of play. Austria's Fabio Auer proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to save Austria from getting a goal against them. In the 45th minute, Ivan Óbolo made a precise shot to the right of Fabio Auer. Austria's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. A collision led to Austria getting a freekick after 48 minutes play. Rafael Riedl hit a great ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Hans-Kristian Aanes made the kick off in the second half. Torstein Solli scored 5-0 in the 57th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fabio Auer, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Hans-Kristian Aanes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Austria's Fabio Auer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hans-Kristian Aanes in the 62nd minute of play. Ivan Óbolo scored 6-0 in the 64th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fabio Auer, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Nico Waismann kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Fabio Auer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ivan Óbolo in the 73rd minute of play. After 73 played minutes Austria got a freekick which was hit by Marc Kronecker. Fabio Auer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Torstein Solli in the 77th minute of the match. Fabio Auer came out of the goal in the 79th minute to try and stop a shot by Sagene IF's Hans-Kristian Aanes. But to his dismay, Hans-Kristian Aanes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. Fabio Auer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oscar Bergum, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Torstein Solli in the 94th minute of play forced Austria's goalkeeper Fabio Auer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Hans-Kristian Aanes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sagene IF's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
