In the 8th minute, Macario De Paula left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The DEMİREL.FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Rüstem Akatay made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chris Nygaard in the 18th minute of play. Denmark's Simon Bendtsen managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Hikmet Türkoğlu in the 20 minute of the game. After having played for 22 minutes, Chris Nygaard managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Denmark's supporters crossed their fingers, but Chris Nygaard was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 23rd minute, Zühtü Tamer made a precise shot to the right of Keld Paulsen. Denmark's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Denmark's Keld Paulsen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save Denmark from getting a goal against them. Zühtü Tamer who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 33rdth minute tested the skills of Keld Paulsen when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 43 minutes into the game, Zühtü Tamer lined in a short shot 4-0 behind a frustrated Keld Paulsen. In the 47th minute, Zühtü Tamer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Zühtü Tamer was the one to do the kick off. Keld Paulsen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sancarbey Çinuçin in the 51st minute of the match. Chris Nygaard hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. DEMİREL.FC's Sancarbey Çinuçin got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Denmark's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Kazım Yalçın ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Kazım Yalçın got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Keld Paulsen quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After 64 minutes, Zühtü Tamer made it 5-0 with a short kick to the right side. Denmark's Keld Paulsen tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 67th minute, Zühtü Tamer ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Keld Paulsen was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. The audience was convinced that Zühtü Tamer's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Keld Paulsen was relentless in the 70th minute of the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sergio Busquets during the 77th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to DEMİREL.FC getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Sergio Busquets hit a great ball. The long shot by Lars Steen in the 78th minute really tested Rüstem Akatay's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. When Macario De Paula came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the DEMİREL.FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Macario De Paula couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, DEMİREL.FC's Kazım Yalçın got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Keld Paulsen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zühtü Tamer in the 85th minute of play. 91 minutes into the game, Hikmet Türkoğlu threw the ball into play from the sideline. Denmark's Lars Steen quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Many of Denmark's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Denmark may have spent more time on the ball, but DEMİREL.FC were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
