Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) MIT Craiova's Tiberiu Caramarin started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Austria's Fabio Auer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tiberiu Caramarin in the 4th minute of play. MIT Craiova were awarded a corner in the 6th minute after Austria's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Mihăiţă Ilarie took the corner. Dorin Banu was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. After a defensive mix-up in Austria's zone, Tiberiu Caramarin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fabio Auer came out of the goal and Tiberiu Caramarin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dorin Banu succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 12th playminute. Tiberiu Caramarin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Fabio Auer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tiberiu Caramarin in the 15th minute of play. 17 minutes into the match, Austria's goal looked a bit too open when Tiberiu Caramarin came free, but Fabio Auer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sandro Galishoff received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Calistrat Madgearu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fabio Auer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tiberiu Caramarin, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. When the match had gone on for 26 minutes, Tiberiu Caramarin took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Fabio Auer to make any attempt to save it. After some careless play in the Austria defense, Tiberiu Caramarin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fabio Auer. The Austria fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fabio Auer should have stopped the shot. Fabio Auer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tiberiu Caramarin in the 33rd minute of the match. 34 minutes into the match, Tiberiu Caramarin dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Fabio Auer, 4-0. MIT Craiova's Ivan Vâtcă managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Nico Waismann in the 44 minute of the game. If Nicodim Orășan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Sandro Galishoff made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Tiberiu Caramarin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The MIT Craiova fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. Sandro Galishoff charged in rather forcefully in the 62nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sandro Galishoff the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 62 played minutes Austria got a freekick which was hit by Sandro Galishoff. After some careless play in the Austria defense, Tiberiu Caramarin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fabio Auer. The Austria fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fabio Auer should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tiberiu Caramarin in the 66th minute of play forced Austria's goalkeeper Fabio Auer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Tiberiu Caramarin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. MIT Craiova's David Tunander was substituted for Dorin Banu. 71 minutes into the match, MIT Craiova's Tiberiu Caramarin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fabio Auer narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 73 minutes into the match, Tiberiu Caramarin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fabio Auer. Austria's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tiberiu Caramarin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 8-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tiberiu Caramarin in the 76th minute of play forced Austria's goalkeeper Fabio Auer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 80th minute, Tiberiu Caramarin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The MIT Craiova fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 9-0. MIT Craiova made a substitution. Fabian Geantă replaced Mihăiţă Ilarie. MIT Craiova's Bogdan Bucataru was substituted for Florin Seremet. MIT Craiova's Ivan Vâtcă quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Nico Waismann, made in the 85th minute of the game. After 86 minutes of play, MIT Craiova's Tiberiu Caramarin made it 10-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fabio Auer was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Radu Sărăroiu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 91 minutes into the game, MIT Craiova's David Tunander nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fabio Auer made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 11-0. 96 minutes into the match, David Tunander had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fabio Auer. Austria's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that David Tunander was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 12-0. MIT Craiova walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
