In the 3rd match minute, Portugal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daniel Pimentel to maneuver through the defense. Ederono Vilardell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felipe Barreto in the 10th minute of play. Ederono Vilardell showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felipe Barreto in the 11th minute of the match. Felipe Barreto blasted a shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ederono Vilardell having to make a save. Ederono Vilardell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felipe Barreto in the 16th minute of play. Raphael Vidal made in the 19th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Portugal's Daniel Pimentel. 22 minutes into the match, OZDEMIR FC's goal looked a bit too open when Viriato Moura came free, but Ederono Vilardell reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wilson Amorim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jose-Antonio Capon in the 25th minute of play. In the 29th minute, Raphael Vidal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Felipe Barreto took the ball and in the 31 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ederono Vilardell. Ederono Vilardell dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. İrfan Altıncığlu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Wilson Amorim having to make a save. OZDEMIR FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Wilson Amorim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jose-Antonio Capon in the 47th minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
When Daniel Pimentel came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Portugal fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Pimentel couldn't finish the play. If Felipe Barreto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Felipe Barreto got free with Ederono Vilardell in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ederono Vilardell came out of the goal in the 60th minute to try and stop a shot by Portugal's Felipe Barreto. But to his dismay, Felipe Barreto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Ederono Vilardell showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gustavo Matos, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Ederono Vilardell showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gustavo Matos in the 73rd minute of the match. Portugal's Felipinho Amorim was substituted for Felipe Barreto. 78 minutes into the match, OZDEMIR FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gustavo Matos came free, but Ederono Vilardell reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ederono Vilardell showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gustavo Matos, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Portugal's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tang Sha Xu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-3. 97 minutes into the match, Rene Sampedro notched a goal, 4-3, to the right of Portugal's Wilson Amorim. Wilson Amorim was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The OZDEMIR FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Portugal had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
