Aris Gabriilidis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frank Sachs in the 5th minute of the match. Vassilis Kritikos's late challenge caught a Germany's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vassilis Kritikos helped the player get up and apologised. Vassilis Kritikos kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. If Thodoris Vlastarakis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Frank Sachs in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aris Gabriilidis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Germany's Albin Holweck got a free kick in the 31st minute. Lipochσrion FC's Thodoris Vlastarakis got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 33rd minute, Frank Sachs made a precise shot to the right of Aris Gabriilidis. Lipochσrion FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Frank Sachs struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Aris Gabriilidis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Germany.
