Rıdvan İbrahimoğlu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 8th minute, Ksawery Gongola left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FFC Merainies 03 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Cipriano Gregory kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cvetin Luković in the 12th minute of play forced FFC Merainies 03's goalkeeper Rıdvan İbrahimoğlu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bruno Marceau sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jesus Satordi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ksawery Gongola in the 18th minute of play. FFC Merainies 03's Rıdvan İbrahimoğlu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ed Moore in the 22nd minute of play. In the 27th minute Ed Moore shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rıdvan İbrahimoğlu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 31 minutes into the match, Elizabeth Three Lions FC's goalkeeper Jesus Satordi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ksawery Gongola. In the 33rd minute Ksawery Gongola shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jesus Satordi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jesus Satordi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ksawery Gongola in the 36th minute of play. FFC Merainies 03's Ksawery Gongola managed to work through Elizabeth Three Lions FC's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Ksawery Gongola dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. After 40 played minutes Elizabeth Three Lions FC got a freekick which was hit by Cvetin Luković. FFC Merainies 03's Bruno Marceau shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 40th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Jesus Satordi but with some difficulty. Rıdvan İbrahimoğlu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Michail Antonio in the 42nd minute of play. Rıdvan İbrahimoğlu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ed Moore, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. When the match had gone on for 45 minutes, Łukasz Zwolinski took a quick shot and it went in 3-1 without a chance for Jesus Satordi to make any attempt to save it. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

Elizabeth Three Lions FC's Spike Pritchard was substituted for Gerry Pullen. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Richard Scholten stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 57 minutes of play, FFC Merainies 03's Leon Craandijk made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jesus Satordi was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jesus Satordi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Łukasz Zwolinski in the 61st minute of play. The supporters of FFC Merainies 03 booed when Elizabeth Three Lions FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daniel Dragnev didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Elizabeth Three Lions FC's Richard Scholten got a free kick in the 66th minute. Rıdvan İbrahimoğlu made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Michail Antonio sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Elizabeth Three Lions FC's Cvetin Luković got a free kick in the 70th minute. Łukasz Zwolinski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Jesus Satordi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jesus Satordi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leon Craandijk in the 77th minute of play. Rıdvan İbrahimoğlu was out of position in the 87 minute of play, and Richard Scholten capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Richard Scholten really showed his touch with that goal: 4-3. In the 94th minute, Leon Craandijk got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 95 played minutes Elizabeth Three Lions FC got a freekick which was hit by Qian Shu Chong. In the 96th minute of the match Fabio Botello shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jesus Satordi showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Leon Craandijk during the 97th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Leon Craandijk kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match. FFC Merainies 03's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
