Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Champions Iasi's Róbert Pál-Szabó started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marian Maghiran in the 5th minute of play forced Champions Iasi's goalkeeper Ferdinand Joldea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The corner went over the outstretched arms of FC Inter Craiova's goalie and right to Corneliu Lupescu. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. FC Inter Craiova's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. If Vasile Mumuleanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to FC Inter Craiova getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Costin Ştirbu hit a great ball. Vasile Mumuleanu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but David Bîndean read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. Ferdinand Joldea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dale Couch in the 19th minute of play. After 26 played minutes Champions Iasi got a freekick which was hit by Róbert Pál-Szabó. When FC Inter Craiova's Marian Maghiran in the 27th minute got a chance for a shot 27th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Champions Iasi's goalie prevented a goal. The supporters of Champions Iasi booed when FC Inter Craiova was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Prudentio Turiela didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 32nd match minute, FC Inter Craiova was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by 蔡飞耀 to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice moves Róbert Pál-Szabó could shoot a difficult shot in the 47th minute, which David Bîndean however easily saved by the left post. In the 48th minute 蔡飞耀 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ferdinand Joldea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The wind increased when Marian Maghiran made the kick off in the second half. Ferdinand Joldea stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of 蔡飞耀's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. After a rather tough play, Champions Iasi's Martin Cubillos got a free kick in the 57th minute. 蔡飞耀 recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 71 minutes into the match, Iustin Coporan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of David Bîndean. FC Inter Craiova's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Iustin Coporan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Vasile Angelescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Ferdinand Joldea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 76th minute of the match, Vasile Angelescu got a very nice opportunity to score, but Ferdinand Joldea was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 82nd minute, FC Inter Craiova's Marian Maghiran ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ferdinand Joldea. Ferdinand Joldea yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. 85 minutes into the match, Champions Iasi's goalkeeper Ferdinand Joldea had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marian Maghiran. Dale Couch came free with the goalkeeper in the 87th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Ferdinand Joldea could save by the left post. David Bîndean took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vasile Mumuleanu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Petre Prisecaru fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ferdinand Joldea having to interfere. With a little luck, Champions Iasi's Ferdinand Joldea got control of the ball when Marian Maghiran tried to sneak it across the goal line. Vasile Mumuleanu hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. In the 96th match minute, Champions Iasi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cosmin Iureș to maneuver through the defense. In the 96th minute, 蔡飞耀 sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Champions Iasi's Ferdinand Joldea didn't even have to move. Ferdinand Joldea made a fantastic save in the 98th minute, when Vasile Angelescu sent off a good shot on target. Champions Iasi's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
