The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eero Uusipaavalniemi in the 9th minute of play forced DS ACADEMY TEAM's goalkeeper Kyle Robinson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 11th match minute, DS ACADEMY TEAM was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Serafim Carioca to maneuver through the defense. In the 14th minute, Eero Uusipaavalniemi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Manchester United FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 17th minute, Emil Wincek reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Edwin van der Sar. The goal made the score 1-1. Kyle Robinson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eero Uusipaavalniemi in the 20th minute of play. Emil Wincek's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Edwin van der Sar read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. Markus Vähäsavo kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. After having played for 25 minutes, Emil Wincek managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. DS ACADEMY TEAM's supporters crossed their fingers, but Emil Wincek was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Taisto Pentsinen in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kyle Robinson saved DS ACADEMY TEAM from getting behind. 29 minutes into the match, DS ACADEMY TEAM's goal looked a bit too open when Valdemar Kuoppala came free, but Kyle Robinson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 31 minutes into the match, DS ACADEMY TEAM's Emil Wincek sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Edwin van der Sar narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Taisto Pentsinen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The wind increased when Valdemar Kuoppala made the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, DS ACADEMY TEAM's Kyle Robinson got control of the ball when Eero Uusipaavalniemi tried to sneak it across the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Taisto Pentsinen during the 52nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Manchester United FC getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Taisto Pentsinen hit a great ball. Manchester United FC's Eeli Niinimäki was substituted for Taisto Pentsinen. 54 minutes into the match, Manchester United FC's goal looked a bit too open when Emil Wincek came free, but Edwin van der Sar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Manchester United FC's Edwin van der Sar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emil Wincek in the 59th minute of play. In the 64th minute, Markus Vähäsavo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. It was a well-played corner which Emil Wincek managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Kyle Robinson made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Eero Uusipaavalniemi sent off a good shot on target. Edwin van der Sar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emil Wincek in the 82nd minute of the match. The supporters of DS ACADEMY TEAM booed when Manchester United FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gary Neville didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kyle Robinson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eeli Niinimäki, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 91st match minute, DS ACADEMY TEAM was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aleksander Arendarski to maneuver through the defense. Gary Neville made in the 94th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Davide Beckham. In the 96th minute Maciej Chmelyk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edwin van der Sar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
