After taking down the ball on FC Inter Craiova's corner 蔡飞耀 fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Jesus Satordi quite easily take care of the ball. Sorin Chitimia kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Ed Moore kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Bogdan Agrigoroaiei hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. 43 minutes into the match, Elizabeth Three Lions FC's goal looked a bit too open when 蔡飞耀 came free, but Jesus Satordi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Elizabeth Three Lions FC's Spike Pritchard was substituted for Gerry Pullen. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Marian Maghiran to make the kick off. Jesus Satordi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. FC Inter Craiova's Vasile Angelescu got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 78 minutes, Alonso Quesada mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Elizabeth Three Lions FC and the FC Inter Craiova players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Elizabeth Three Lions FC getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Alonso Quesada hit a great ball. Jesus Satordi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from 蔡飞耀 went, in the 79th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. David Bîndean made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ed Moore in the 83rd minute of play. Vasile Angelescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Qian Shu Chong charged in rather forcefully in the 88th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Qian Shu Chong the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of FC Inter Craiova booed when Elizabeth Three Lions FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Qian Shu Chong didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jesus Satordi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marian Maghiran in the 94th minute of the match. For all the effort they put into the match, the Elizabeth Three Lions FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for FC Inter Craiova.
