A collision led to Atlético Letal getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Alfredinho Sena hit a great ball. Abelardo Zubizarreta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Róbert Pál-Szabó in the 90th minute of play. Corneliu Lupescu kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Atlético Letal's Andrézinho Furtado got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Atlético Letal were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Champions Iasi's much stronger midfield.
