If Nicolas Hamard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tommy Kahn made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nicolas Hamard in the 11th minute. Felix Emmanuel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Tommy Kahn made a huge save. 18 minutes into the match, Cats and dogs's goal looked a bit too open when Frank Sachs came free, but Joe Camp reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Germany defense, Felix Emmanuel kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tommy Kahn. The Germany fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tommy Kahn should have stopped the shot. When Adrian Dreifuss fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Germany's protests and gave Adrian Dreifuss a yellow card for diving instead. Felix Emmanuel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Tommy Kahn made a huge save. Germany's Tommy Kahn proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save Germany from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicolas Hamard in the 31st minute of play forced Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Germany's Tommy Kahn got control of the ball when Felix Emmanuel tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 35th minute, Cats and dogs's Felix Emmanuel ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Tommy Kahn. Tommy Kahn yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. When Felix Emmanuel came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Cats and dogs fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Felix Emmanuel couldn't finish the play. Tommy Kahn acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 40th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Edmond Saury. A collision led to Germany getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Willy Stieler hit a great ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The wind increased when Felix Emmanuel made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 55 minutes into the match, Nicolas Hamard had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tommy Kahn. Germany's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nicolas Hamard was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. In the 59th minute, Nicolas Hamard ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tommy Kahn was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. Cats and dogs's Joe Camp proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save Cats and dogs from getting a goal against them. Joe Camp took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frank Sachs, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Willy Stieler during the 71st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Germany getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Willy Stieler hit a great ball. In the 72nd minute, Willy Stieler hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Gaétan Bouchard managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cats and dogs's supporters rose to their feet, but Gaétan Bouchard was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tommy Kahn breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A sloppy throw-in by Willy Stieler in the 80th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Cats and dogs's Redouane Goude. Frank Sachs recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Germany's Willy Stieler got a free kick in the 94th minute. There was no doubt that Cats and dogs were the better team. Cats and dogs's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
