A collision led to Germany getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Willy Stieler hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Michalis Aggelopoulos in the 10th minute of play forced Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Chernolνtsa FC's Ismael Otsoa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frank Sachs in the 13th minute of play. Germany's Frank Sachs got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 28th minute, Adrian Dreifuss hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Chernolνtsa FC's Valentinos Adamiadis came free and shot a quick shot against goal 31 minutes in the game, fortunately Tommy Kahn had problems saving as it came toward the left post. Charis Kofinas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tommy Kahn read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. Germany's Tommy Kahn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Michalis Aggelopoulos in the 37th minute of play. Ismael Otsoa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frank Sachs in the 40th minute of play. Valentinos Adamiadis blasted a shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tommy Kahn having to make a save. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Ismael Otsoa made a fantastic save in the 51st minute, when Frank Sachs sent off a good shot on target. Tommy Kahn didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tolis Theofanidis went, in the 52nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Valentinos Adamiadis struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Tommy Kahn didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chernolνtsa FC. The supporters of Germany booed when Chernolνtsa FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pavlos Minotis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ismael Otsoa made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Frank Sachs sent off a good shot on target. After 71 minutes, Michalis Aggelopoulos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Chernolνtsa FC and the Germany players grew even worse after the yellow card. Michalis Aggelopoulos hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. 73 minutes into the match, Germany's goal looked a bit too open when Tolis Theofanidis came free, but Tommy Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 74 minutes had been played when some careless play by Germany's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. After a rather tough play, Germany's Malte Schiele got a free kick in the 79th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Albin Holweck during the 82nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 82 played minutes Germany got a freekick which was hit by Albin Holweck. Valentinos Adamiadis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tommy Kahn having to interfere. A hard shot 89 in the game by Frank Sachs from a close distance when the talented Ismael Otsoa managed to make a qualified save.
