Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Frank Sachs got the match started through his kick off. 3 minutes into the match, Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Joaquin Ledesma. The corner led Gold Army 1923's Elivélton Barros to fire away a dangerous shot which Tommy Kahn despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 9th minute the ball was on its way in behind Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With his leg Tommy Kahn managed to avoid a goal in the 16thth minute, when Gold Army 1923's Joaquin Ledesma fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Behiç Askeroğlu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Germany's zone, Behiç Askeroğlu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tommy Kahn came out of the goal and Behiç Askeroğlu tried to chip the ball over his head. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Joaquin Ledesma was the one to do the kick off. Joaquin Ledesma scored 2-0 in the 54th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tommy Kahn, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joaquin Ledesma in the 69th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Joaquin Ledesma in the 72nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tommy Kahn prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Semail Gökdoğan kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Peter Schmeichel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Albin Holweck, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. After 75 minutes Gold Army 1923's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Frank Sachs who took care of the corner kick. Joaquin Ledesma recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joaquin Ledesma in the 88th minute of play forced Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
